Wow, when did I last post here… let’s see, somewhere around 2 weeks ago? Hmmm that doesn’t seem so long but I almost forgot my password to this domain already.
So loads of things obviously happened within these 14 days or so, but first things first. I finished my guard duty for this month which happened to be a 24-hour one ‘cause of CNY and all. And the worst part is, I haven’t gotten proper sleep since last Friday when I first started my duty. I guess it’ll be needing loads of rest when I get some sleep later on.
Work has been an ass due to some stupid political shit happening. Fuck it lah, I’m treating what I’m going through now as some kind of an adult working lifestyle also. So my actions have gotta tally with my words. I’ve already started distinguishing who’s friend and who’s foe; giving support to the right people at the right moments; making the right move at the right timing.
Somehow sometimes me and my friends ridicule at the fact that some people earn more than us but their mindset is much worse than the worst one amongst us all.
Then there’s the long weekend for CNY, and I initially wanted to make it even longer but oh well I should have expected that some ass would want to be kay poh and come down to Singapore and pay us a visit.
In technology news, I’ve been wanting to do some spring cleaning for my MBP and PC but I always seem to give up halfway when it gets all too troublesome.
I’m resisting the temptation to my a solid-state drive aka SSD with the theory that my OS will eventually boot no matter what drive I use; it’s just a matter of how fast. And that probably isn’t enough to justify the forking out of few extra bucks.
Win 7 is sucky for now ‘cause it somehow disrupts the peace and serenity that my Bittorrent has always taken for granted all these while. Plus, I can’t increase/decrease my hard disk space to my own liking cause no programs like PartitionMagic supports Win 7 yet.

Oh yeah, my friend introduced me to the TV series Modern Family lately and somehow I managed to watch it’s Season 1 already. It’s not that bad - I like those episodes where it reiterates the importance of family and its values. But after a while I ask myself, hey why aint I laughing? Isn’t this series supposed to be a comedy? Then again, it must’ve been the guard duty that wore me down.
Fringe Season 2 is next in the list…
Okay, my eyes are begging me to close it and I’m yawning like nobody’s business already. I’ll write more when I remember all the ups and downs of my life in this short yet long 2 weeks.
